
Emily Lanthier
Attorney Emily Lanthier is a member in good standing of the Connecticut Bar where she was licensed in November 2022. Emily joined the Firm following her second year of law school as a law clerk. In that capacity she assisted the Firm’s attorneys in all areas of practice. Upon getting licensed, Emily began appearing regularly before all Connecticut superior courts helping clients facing misdemeanor and felony charges.
In 2018, Emily received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Temple University, cum laude. She then went on to receive her Master’s Degree, magna cum laude, from Temple University in 2019 before earning her Juris Doctorate, magna cum laude, from Quinnipiac University School of Law in May 2022.
Upon graduation Emily received a number of academic awards including the Oberst Mock Trial Award, Outstanding Performance in Oral Advocacy, Excellence in Clinical Legal Education, and the Service to the Law School Award.
While at Quinnipiac Law, Emily received awards for Distinguished Academic Performance in Law of Politics, Trial Practice, and Mock Trial, and was a member of the Criminal Law Society and the Women’s Law Society. She also served as the President of the Mock Trial Society, where she was part of the regional championship teams for the All-Star Bracket Challenge in Fall 2021 as well as the Northeast Regional National Trial Competition in Spring 2022. Additionally, Emily also participated in the 13th Annual Top Gun Mock Trial Competition, an innovative, invitation-only mock trial tournament where the single best advocates from the sixteen top trial advocacy schools across the nation go head-to-head for the honor of being designated as “Top Gun.”
